What a Blessed Day!

Now that Luke's adoption was finalized, we were finally able to have Luke blessed. It was a cold, snowy day but thankfully that didn't keep away our family and friends. Not everyone was able to make it unfortunately but we were so thankful for those who could. Our ward had a baby blessing (Luke's), a missionary farewell, and a missionary homecoming, so needless to say it was a very full meeting. We followed the blessing with a luncheon at a building we had rented since our house couldn't hold that many. Everything went very smoothly and it was just a beautiful day. My mom made Luke these cute little overalls to wear and then I wrapped him in a blanket that Jake's mom had made him. I am so looking forward to the temple sealing next week when we will finally be able to have our sweet boy sealed to us. We are so blessed!
