Buggin' Out!

My niece's twins are just a month younger than Luke, and she had the cutest party for them this week. It was all themed around the book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. As the party attendees arrived, they received butterfly wings and/or antennae. I opted for no wings for Luke but the girls all looked adorable in them. The kids were then allowed a choice of several different ongoing activities from caterpillar making to sheet painting with colored water to bug hunting and several others. The yard was decorated with large handpainted fruit and trees hung with paper butterflies. It was really so well done and fun for the kids. Kudos to you, Krista!!
